Derek's lesson really emphasized attention and focus on detail, which I found pretty helpful. Though I think the resets and dinking could still use some work, still, he's quite attentive during lessons and minimizes distractions. It's a subtle improvement, but I feel like I’m gaining better control over my paddle. If you're into refining specific skills with a calm, measured approach, maybe give Derek a shot.

The lesson with Derek was quite helpful overall, particularly in terms of improving my shot consistency and court awareness. Although I didn’t expect everything to turn around instantly, I feel more confident on the court after it. Still, I think a bit more focus on specific drills might help next time. But honestly, I’d suggest giving Derek a try if you’re aiming to refine your game gently.

Wow, I think the lesson with Derek really flew by, and I appreciated the focus on practical skills. Though I still want to develop better muscle memory, the lesson highlighted some key areas I can work on. To continue to improve, I’ll definitely try another lesson with him and see how my control and reflexes can get sharper. It was a helpful experience and worth the time.

Derek is a great instructor and very nice guy who offers lots of good advice and encouragement. After just one session, he’s helped me begin transitioning from my tennis game to pickleball. Looking forward to our next lesson.

Derek is an incredible coach! He is an extremely skilled player, personally, and has an extraordinary ability to ascertain and adjust to each students needs. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with him.
