Though I think the resets and dinking could still use some work, still, he's quite attentive during lessons and minimizes distractions. The lesson with Derek was quite helpful overall, particularly in terms of improving my shot consistency and court awareness. Although I didn’t expect everything to turn around instantly, I feel more confident on the court after it. Still, I think a bit more focus on specific drills might help next time. But honestly, I’d suggest giving Derek a try if you’re aiming to refine your game gently.

Wow, I think the lesson with Derek really flew by, and I appreciated the focus on practical skills. Though I still want to develop better muscle memory, the lesson highlighted some key areas I can work on. I find Derek's focus on my weaknesses pretty helpful, and I learned a lot of techniques from him during the lesson. Still, I think I need to keep working on some areas, but his approach makes me optimistic about future progress. My daughter saw people playing at the local courts a thought she’d like to try it, so we found Derek and thought we’d give it a try. We were so fortunate because he was so great with her, really patient and kind. We might need one or two more lessons before she is confident enough to play, but we will be sure to book with Derek again.
