Group surfing lessons in Newport Beach, California

Parker is the GOAT. I took 7+ lessons with him and each one of them were worth it. His way of instruction by the time I took my last lesson made everything click together. He is a great at explaining things and gets straight to the point. Would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to surf.

That lesson with Parker was quite helpful, especially since he took time to clarify some surf techniques I hadn’t fully grasped before. Though I still need to work on catching waves more consistently, I feel like I'm slowly improving thanks to his calm approach. Still, I look forward to building on that and maybe focusing more on timing next time. If you're after a relaxed, practical lesson that helps develop good habits, Parker's a good option to consider.

Wow, Parker's a really cool guy and super down to earth as a teacher, which made the lesson feel pretty relaxed. His approach definitely stood out to me. Still, I think working on getting the pop-up down and right when I get on the wave would really make a difference. Overall, I felt like I learned a lot, and I’d suggest giving Parker a shot if you’re after a laid-back but effective surf lesson.

1 session in and I already feel more comfortable in the water. Parker provided such a calm and safe presence throughout our session. His knowledge and skill was evident, he looks just as comfortable in the water as he does on land! He was also so patient and encouraging. I will happily be continuing my sessions with him.

Parker was awesome at talking through things with me on wave selection. He helped me learn which waves to take, which direction to paddle, where to be out in the line up, and I learned a lot. Looking forward to the next lesson to keep progressing.
