He covered everything we needed to get started — serves, stances, basic rules, and best practices — and managed to make it all feel approachable and fun. What stood out most was how thorough he was without ever making us feel like we were in a lecture. He met us right where we were, kept the energy light, and made sure we actually understood what we were doing and why. By the end of the session, we weren't just going through the motions — we felt like we had a real foundation to build on. If you're a beginner looking for a coach who's patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice, Jeff is your guy.

I had the pleasure of sharing the court with Jeff as we were both instructors for a local recreation district. Jeff is a very experienced coach that enjoys interacting with people. He has a way of teaching fundamentals without lecturing, while making it fun. You know that you are with a good coach when you learn something from a fellow coach and I certainly did from Jeff.
