Hello! My name is Cole Jager and I've been surfing for 13+, and instructing for about 5. I am passionate about teaching the sport that I love from beginners all the way up to the upper-level intermediate skill level surfer. On my own time, I primarily ride shortboards but have extensive experience riding longboards (which is what I primarily teach). I've enjoyed teaching many friends and strangers how to surf along with sharing my knowledge of the sport! I hope to see you in the water!

Unfortunately, I do not provide equipment but I can provide recommendations to some of the best rental places in your area!
What is the water temperature in San Diego
The water temp can vary from about 60-70 degrees depending on the season. At whatever time of the year you decide to book your lesson, I will recommend what to wear!
Should I be concerned about the sea life?
San Diegos beaches are very safe and most sea life are very friendly / stay out of the way. During our lesson, I will teach you techniques on how to stay safe and what to look out for.
