12-Privates and fun!

Coach Billy is an incredible teacher, making tennis fun, dynamic and interactive across a variety of formats, ranging from private lessons, to small groups to larger drop-in classes. My kids and I all take lessons/classes with him and in my experience, he has a unique blend of working on strategic, physical and mental aspects of the game, which are all invaluable to improving. During the course of a lesson, he will keep things moving very quickly, spending just enough time on a drill, before moving on to a new one. In a 1 hour class, we will typically do 4-5 drills, targeting different, frequently arising match scenarios or working on a specific set of skills. Throughout the lessons, Billy will point out when certain shot choices or the execution weren’t ideal and why, while also highlighting well played points. I learn something new every time I play with Billy and can’t recommend him highly enough for both adults and kids. My daughter’s game has completely transformed since starting with Billy about a year ago. He has a way of helping everyone push themselves to reaching new heights and being their best tennis player, while keeping it fun along the way. Thank you Billy!

I’ve been taking private lessons and going to team drills with Coach Billy for a little over a year, and in that time he’s helped me improve both my technical and strategic skills very much. I even got bumped up a level from 3.0 to 3.5 to 4.0. His team drills are fast-paced and fun, he teaches with a positive attitude and encouragement, and he very obviously loves the sport. He also coached my nephew into the high school State Championships in just 2 seasons, and actively facilitates connection and growth within the local tennis community and as the coach at Monarch HS. I highly recommend him!
