FC Tokoto until 2014. In high school at Adlai E. Stevenson, I captained the sophomore boys soccer team to an undefeated seasons and went to play for varsity at the beginning of my junior to senior year. I played collegiate soccer at Elmhurst University for 4 years and travelled with the soccer team to France and Spain to play second tier academy teams. Through rigorous training from ID camps, travel soccer, training with semi-pros, and physical fitness, I increased my knowledge and fundamental skills to help the teams I played for reach for many finals, championships, and bragging rights over rivals. “Futbol/soccer is the beautiful game”- Pèle.
Kanal is an exceptional coach and we feel very blessed to have found him for our 6 year old son. Major highlights include that for sessions, he comes to fields right near our house which is so convenient. He is a great motivator for our son who says “Coach gets me to hustle hard” and the drills he provides are helping our son grow technically but also build his confidence which is priceless. He has great banter to encourage our son and is very friendly. He is also always communicative and quick to respond which is a plus. Overall, we highly recommend him!
