Group pickleball lessons in Chicago, Illinois

Since I’m fairly new to pickleball, having only watched games I decided to sign up for lessons. Ryan started me off with simple drills to help me build foundation with using a paddle. After I was getting the hang of things he introduced me to swing techniques to control the ball which I found similar to what I learned in tennis. Ryan’s teaching is very helpful and he does a great job of adjusting the focus when I’m either learning fast or could use more assistance.

Ryan was a really great coach. After rallying for a few minutes he could tell what improvements i needed to make, and put me on some great drills. My groundstrokes developed so much after our first lesson, and I even learned a few new techniques during the second lesson. Take lessons from Ryan if you want to make FAST improvements to your game.

As a former tennis player new to pickleball, I struggled with certain aspects of the sport. Taking lessons with Ryan helped me become more pickle-oriented. During lessons he would give me drills for my weaknesses like volleys, dinking, and teach the proper footwork. After just a few sessions my skill improved tremendously! Thank you, Ryan!!

I had a difficult time with serving and was always frustrated whenever I would miss my mark. I took a lesson from Ryan and he helped me improve so much! He taught me proper form and gave me pointers on how to be more consistent with my serves. I recommend Ryan for anyone who might be new to pickleball and wants to learn the fundamentals.

Ryan helped me prepare for an upcoming tournament by giving me an analysis of my gameplay. During our session he also helped me stop my bad habits that I wasn’t conscious of. After the first 2 lessons I already noticed a significant boost in my ability. Would definitely go to Ryan again when in need of tips.

Ryan helped me understand the parts of pickleball that are downplayed or outright neglected. He taught me how to put effective pressure to win the point on opponents, and gave solid tips on how to make adjustments. My DUPR rating went up to 4.1 from 3.8 after the 5 lessons I’ve taken from Ryan’s coaching.
