Taking my first lesson with Josh went very well. He diagnosed my issue and came up with the solution and swing thought that cured the issue. He used an iPad to spite me a visual of what I was doing which I thought was great. Hearing it is one thing, seeing it is so much better. I plan on continuing with Josh to tighten up my swing. Highly recommend lessons with Josh. He is super knowledgable about the game and the golf swing, and combines that with a great teaching approach. He met me at my knowledge level, and didn’t overwhelm me or overcomplicate the process with hyper-technical jargon. He was able to easily diagnose issues in my swing, and give specific, digestible feedback that made a difference right away. He also provided several simple drills that I can work on at home (with or without a club in hand), as well as video resources that I can refer to next time I practice on my own. Like all good golf instructors, Josh works with what you have and makes it better. He doesn’t have some cookie cutter notion of the “perfect golf swing” that he attempts to mold his clients towards. Josh is an outstanding golf coach. He is a serious student of the game, and has been very helpful with identifying issues in my swing without forcing me to rebuild my swing. I saw immediate improvement in ball-striking and control. As a former competitive golfer, he has also helped me with course management strategy and shot selections on the course. Highly recommended.
