Logan Tran
Pickleball Coach in Fremont, California
Stuck at 2.5–3.5? I specialize in individualized pickleball lessons for players who want to break through their plateau and build a strong, reliable foundation. Many players reach 2.5–3.5 simply by playing more. But eventually, experience alone stops working. Their shots stay inconsistent—and often they don’t understand why. That’s where I come in. Every lesson is customized to identify what is really holding your game back and rebuild the foundation behind it. I don’t just teach HOW to hit a shot. You’ll understand: WHY the shot works WHEN to use it WHAT to do in different situations HOW to execute it consistently Even within the HOW, you’ll learn the principles behind the technique—not just copy a motion—so you can recognize mistakes, make adjustments, and improve independently. My approach: Assess → Understand → Fix → Practice → Apply We focus only on what your game actually needs—whether that’s your serve, return, drive, drop, dink, reset, footwork, positioning, or shot selection. New to pickleball? You’re welcome too. Build the right foundation from day one so you can progress faster and avoid habits that become harder to fix later. Understand Your Game. Build Your Foundation. Level Up.

Understand purpose and technicality of the shots Practice till you make it Step 4: Roll into the game and learn from your mistake. ***Newbies usually need a certain amount of time to master most basic shots. I highly suggest you go with me for at least 5 sessons to learn in a systematic way and build a strong foundation for your further progress. *** I ll be frank and genuine to you, slow and stead is the only way to build your game. Rushing will only slow you down *** -Intermediate: struggling with core shots (drive, serve, return, drop, dink..): Step 1. Assessment: let me see how you hit it, I will tell you what can be improved. Step 2. Understand the shot: why, when, where, and how. Understanding what you do is most crucial for improvement. Step 3. Practice: I’ll break the shot down into small moves. We focus on mastering one move at a time. Then combine them into a complete shot. Step 4. Reinforcement: its trial and errors process. We keep drilling and fixing mistakes untill you got it. Step 5. Bring it to the game (depends on situation): only if you are ready, we can play real games so you learn from your own mistake. Otherwise, rushing to the games only slowering your improvement. My lessons are always customized to your needs. Whether you want to focus on mechanics, strategy, or simply getting more comfortable rallying, I’ll assess and tailor each session so you see immediate progress. My teaching philosophy is simple: Quality over Quantity. I emphasize deep understanding and focused practice, so that after every lesson, you walk away with solid foundation and confidence to keep building your game on your own.

“I’ve been working with Logan for about two months, and I’ve seen a significant improvement in my pickleball game in that time. He’s extremely patient and does a great job teaching the fundamentals rather than just focusing on drills or technique. I especially appreciate that he explains the reasoning behind why things are done a certain way, which has helped me understand the game on a much deeper level. Logan never makes me feel rushed, and he’s always willing to take the time to make sure I actually understand and feel comfortable with what we’re working on. You can tell that he’s genuinely dedicated to coaching and to helping his students improve. I’m really glad I found him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their pickleball skills!”

It was my 3 lessons with Logan and still amazed by his knowledge and teaching method. We spent 2 hours working on my drive and roll dinks. Logan is really keen on spot out my mistakes, explain it to me. Then he break down the shots into small steps and drills. I feel much more knowledgable after his lessons and know how to train on my own. That is what awesome about Logan, he is not afraid to teach you how to train on your own, this guys just has nothing to hide from you in his lessons. Highly reccommend him.

My first session with Logan went really well. He took time to understand my goal and my ability so he can further guide me. I already know a little but having Logan providing instruction and pointing out where I can improve is very helpful. The pacing is very good as well. I felt like no time was wasted. Overall Im very glad I chose Logan, highly recommend having him as your coach!

I want to hit better drive and booked Logan. He helps me understand how the drives work. I have to be in solid footwork, wait for the right ball, compact swing and never hit more 50% of your power. With his shared knowledge, I can practice with walls or my friend to improve my shots.

I am a 3.0 player. I can hit the shots but not consistenly. I trained with Logan and he was super helpful. He explained the technique of the shot, divide into them into smaller drills then combine them as big picture. I am impressed by how passionate he is when he teaches.
